The Historical Facts of Air Alpha 1989-1994

1989

Alpha Air A/S becomes a reality after uniting three smaller aviation companies dealing with charter flights, maintenance and sales.

1991

The company is reorganized after economical difficulties. Poul Lübbert, Director in Air Greenland, is called in to manage the reorganization.

1992

New investors enter the company and Poul Lübbert is appointed Managing Director in Air Alpha A/S. The shareholders are mainly the company's employees. 1992-96: Contracts with United Nations - assignments in Afghanistan. Charter contracts in Greenland and Greece. Maintenance and renovation of aircraft for customers all over Scandinavia as well as Air Alpha, carried out by Alice Aviation.

1994

Air Alpha Greenland A/S is established.
